Edith has been working in TV and radio for nearly twenty years, and her personal passion for music and film has resulted in an extensive and diverse body of work: from presenting the live coverage of the televised BAFTA FILM AWARDS; hosting the BAFTA SCOTLAND AWARDS for several years; and exclusively presenting the BAFTA LOS ANGELES JAGUAR BRITANNIA AWARDS red carpet coverage on behalf of BBC America in 2014; to writing EDITH BOWMAN’S GREAT BRITISH MUSIC FESTIVALS; and producing the Sky Arts documentary SONGS TO HAVE SEX TO, after winning her first television commission.
In early 2019, Edith has a number of BAFTA presenting roles, hosting the EE BAFTA Rising Star awards ceremony on 3 January, presenting the EE BAFTAs Red Carpet Live alongside Dermot O’Leary at the main event on 10 February, and fronting the first episode of the new BAFTA: Life in Pictures series, in conversation with Hugh Jackman broadcast on Sky Arts on 14 February.
