Jody on go from “meh” to Magnificent – Episode 15

I don’t know about you, but lock-down’s started to feel weirdly like a holiday.

Not because my work has slowed down (quite the opposite!) but because my little inner voice has been telling me “it’s totally cool to eat the whole bar of chocolate in one sitting” and “it’s perfectly reasonable for you to have a glass of red wine with dinner… every night”. 

Now all of this is fine… if it doesn’t go on for another 3 months, as my health might start to suffer (as you can probably imagine on a diet of chocolate and wine 🤣).

My main observation was how quickly I could talk myself out of doing my non-negotiable morning practice, and how easily I wanted to lie in and not get up until 9am (I usually get up at 6:30am).

Again, all of this is ok if it doesn’t become a habit because when we wander away from the path of positivity it takes a lot of energy and inner strength to guide ourselves back.
